Michal Castiel says:

I want to but roller & I doubt between powerslide imperial (cool looking) or seba (fr2/ fx/ trix)
I liked the looking of powerslide but of course prefer the best one.
Thank u!

Muna Kz says:

What about Rocess? Is it good?

City Blades says:

Flying Eagle hardboots are lighter than FR’s :) it’s awesome. F7 liner feels almost like an Intuition, too, but slightly softer and probably twice as thick up top

Nikolay Kosev says:

What about fr2 ? I was about to choose fr2 instead of fr1 as i don’t think i’ll need to move my frame.

Lois CS says:

Hi Tiago from Spain!
What do you think about the new Oxelo free ride mf 500 (85€) ?
I read nice reviews about them for beginners. I think is a low budget option for freeride newbies.

Jonathan Luo says:

for all the ppl that have the shop “Canadian Tire” near them try these: http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/bauer-vapor-xr-dart-inline-skates-junior-senior-0849000p.html#srp

What a cluster-fuck thumbnail.

ivohawk says:

Have some actor gifts i’d say! 😉 I have some Q also, is it worth upgrading from 76mm to 84mm wheels? To add them on kind of old version street skates?

Oogie says:

Grant Bender says:

Thanks for the vid! I know I’m late in seeing it, but based on your suggestion I ended up going with the RB 80s, had to do rollerblade because of my huge feet, size 13 American, 46 EU lol, and the others didn’t have it or were super expensive at that size! I could not be happier with them! :) Getting back into skating after 15 years of not skating and this was exactly what I needed, I love them. Keep it up! To anyone watching this with huge feet, especially WIDE feet like me, the RB 80s are awesome.

Rolls Reese says:

Bought the Rollerblade Twister 80 and am having fun learning to in-line skate…and properly execute the “L” stop. Super sweet! Thanks for the recommendations!

Wavy Vaporizers says:

Man I’ve been up all night trying to figure out which are the blades I should purchase . Rollerblade rb 80s, maxxum 84 or 90, or seba frx .. Please help me. I’m not really buying them for stunts or tricks I just want to get back into great shape while being comfortable doing it. I dont want recreational fitness skates because I used to skate 20 years ago. If anyone can help me please comment. Great video btw

Scott says:

How is the Seba sizing? I am a US 10,5 /44 ..what size do i use for Seba?

NachoGM says:

I just got my first pair, i decided F3 origami

TheMagache says:

I had a pair of skates when I was younger that I picked up at a yard sale, always wanted a decent pair but could never justify the cost when i would of just grew out of them soon anyways. My only issue is that I have wide feet and if I’m not comfortable in the skates then I’m not going to have an enjoyable time with them. Online reviews recommend the SEBA FR1 because they have a wider boot but the local sports stores don’t sell that brand. I can order online but if the skate doesn’t fit then I am paying extra shipping costs to get replacements. What would you recommend?

Arthis says:

In summary:

– POWERSLIDE Metropolis 80 FSK
– POWERSLIDE Imperial One
– POWERSLIDE Imperial Basic 80
– Rollerblade RB 80 (PRO)
– Rollerblade Twister 80
– Flying Eagle F3
– Flying Eagle F4
– SEBA FRX 80
– SEBA FR3 80

I still have the fitness skates that my parents bought me when I was a kid – nearly 20 years on (using them once every few years or so) my shoe size hasn’t changed and I’d say I’m not even intermediate level yet, so I guess I’ll practice with them before getting one of these…

GIANNIS LYMPEROPOYLOS says:

I believe that AGGRESIVE SKATES ARE BY FAR THE BEST SKATES FOR BEGINNERS…..!!i dont know about the existence or the ability to add the heel brake..but im A NEWBIE…and i have both…ones with 58 wheels and ones with 82mm…the difference is night and day..
1.aggressive skates with small whells provide one trillion million quadrilion times GREATER BALANCE AND MANOEUVRALITY OVER THE FITNESS ONES OR THE ONES WITH JUST LARGER WHEELS 80MM AND ABOVE..ITS SO MUCH EASIER TO LEARN THE ESSENTIAL OF INLINE SKATING AND THEN IF YOU WANT SPEED OR EASIER STARTING..BLA …BLA..TAKE FITNESS OR OTHERS….
2.THE SMALL AGGRESSIVE WHEELS HAVE A MUCH MORE FLAT AND WIDE CONTACT SURFACE IN COMPARISON WITH THE LARGE FITNESS THAT ARE FAR MORE CURVED WITH AN ALMOST ”POINTY” EDGE….!!
3.THE AGGRESSIVE ONES ARE SLOWER SOMETHING WHICH IS CRUCIAL WHEN YOU ARE A BEGINNER..THEY DEMAND GREATER EFFORT TO START …SO YOU CAN HAVE OVERALL BETTER CONTROL….
4.BY CONSTRUCTION AND SPEAKING GENERALLY ..BECAUSE THE AGGRESSIVE ONES ARE MADE FOR ABUSE AND TRICKS..THEY TEND TO BE STIFFER …SOMETHING YOU WANT IF YOU ARE A COMPLETE BEGINNER…
thats all..again im a beginner but this is my opinion..stay in smaller wheels…gain all the tricks and essentials with them and then move to larger wheels..
the only drawback i can find is that the smaller wheels dont behave equally so well as the larger ones on uneven surfaces so you have a rougher ride also…but if the terrain is ok…there is no problem….!!!its like comparing an enduro.. on-off 21” wheel with a 17” street one …on bikes!!!
ive read that in early 90s the max and the average wheel diameter were much lower than it is today…i dont know if the composite materials helped make frames and wheels stronger so you can easily see 100-110 mm wheels or its just a trend…the fact remains…your first steps will be on a good surface i assume…so the much smaller wheels are unbeatable for control and balance!!!!
the only thing that i mentioned is the absence of heel brake …but you can learn the t stop fast with them..
AND WHEN YOU LEARN T STOP AS NEWBIE NEVER EVER TRY TO MAKE A 90 DEGREE STOP…FORMIN AN L….AS SO MANY TUTORIALS MENTION…TRY A MUCH SMALLER ANGLE..THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST TUTORIAL TO LEARN THE T STOP..WHEN YOU MASTER IT YOU WILL EVENTUALLY COME TO THE 90 DEGREE ANGLE !!!
