Triple 8 brain saver, triple 8 low profile soft elbow, hillbilly full finger with back of hand/wrist support taken out, crashpads and g-form knee shin combo. Yes, full protection when aggressive, fsk, downhill, or mountain SUV inline. Helmet and open finger wrist gaurd for casual skate. Say what you want, I’m 37, work full-time, live by myself and pay all my bills.
Are the knee and shin gaskets any good at taking a fall tom a mini ramp?
I got a full pad set for 25 bucks on eBay (JBL I beleive), and I just toss them into the washer and dryer after each skate. They have taken some huge falls and slides that would have shredded my skin possibly broken bones, so I don’t really see the need for expensive stuff, what is a pad besides hard plastics and straps anyway?
Helmet, Knee Gasket and Wrist Guard. Das’it.
I wear ennui city brace wrist guards. They feel nice. I rinse them under water and blot them with a towel after every use. They can be washed in a washing machine too.
I like the plastic knee pads cuz u can slide when you fall, especially on transitions
The shin + knees have saved me soooooo much. They cover my knee and downward and I’m about 5’8. Super comfy and totally not noticeable. I do agree with the wristguard. However I would like to point out that the part you land on is quite bulbous. Thus it absorbs some of the pressure and stress before it transfers to your forearm.
Killer 187 Flypads for my knees and elbows. Rollerblade wrist pads. Killer 187 helmet.
