How do you do these reviews? Do they rent/give the board to you to review it or do you buy them and sell them when you’re done?

emilio gonzalez says:

Which Electric skateboard is the cheapest one you own ???

gamezmeow says:

Correction. Meepo’ S v1 and v1.5 both have 144wh batteries 10s2p batteries. The ownboard has a selection of 144, 198, 238wh batteries

o0bananaman0o says:

I recently got a meepo sanyo 30″ and absolutely love it, I had to deck swap with a double kick deck but its still only 32″ and way better than my genesis stinger. I like how the meepo sanyo comes with everything needed to deck swap

FabTRAV,Thank you for your honest and fair assessment. Thank you for your videos.

beesleyboy says:

Great review Fab, love your channel and can’t wait to see your board when it comes out.
Sham about the price thing, that I think you got wrong, I was looking at the prices and found that the Ownbourd was cheaper, had a great remot and a waterproof ESC, that’s why I went and bought a Ownboard.

huzzler g says:

Oh yeah i got the ownboard too few days ago ! the board on the website are all same… they have just different batterys. i think you have the same one like me. 6.4Ah Battery with 25 kilometers TRUE range . They did a good job ! 100% water proof . This is the MEEPO KILLER !! thats what i called the Ownboard ! they already working on a W2 version with a kicktail. lil bit longer board. CANT WAIT FOR IT !

EgadsNo says:

Keep in mind about batteries when designing your board- that you can put more than one battery in it. Two small batteries is fine even if it has more Watt hours combined than a prohibited battery.

Wora N says:

OWNBOARD is the best budget e-skateboard !!!
Different from Meepoboard are the remote control, metal body-Case, 100% waterproof motherboard / ESC (see video on the Ownboard web), motor to ESC plug is very easy to change the motor. I really like it. most people should be able to buy it

Onella Wanis says:

Meepo board has 158 watt hours lol

ncwarrior says:

test the meepo 1.5 fab

eFS Channel says:

Backfire 2 or this?

jimzplace says:

Gustavo Jr Bibiano says:

Nice board

Samz - CSGO & H1Z1 Content says:

Hey Fabian! I was wondering, out of all these boards, for someone who’s a beginner and wants to use it for transportation through their medium size city with alot of cracks etc, which one out of all these similar boards would you recommend? Wowgo/Ownboard/Meepo/Backfire 2 etc? 🙂

alexandru caratas says:

So I’m seeing a lot of good things about this company, I think paying customers should be made aware of the other possible outcome to putting down your hard earned money for a product.
Placed my order on 17 of April, asked them and I was assured that it will be here in up to 15 days. June 2 I got the board, rode it 2 times(on very smooth roads) hub motors urethanes broke. June 18 they said I’ll be sent one hub they understood I need both of them free of charge. Upon further inspection I realized that the battery was a smaller one than what I ordered and paid for. June 21 they supposedly sent out a package with the hubs and correct battery and even though I explicitly said I’ll be leaving the country on July 10 they reassured me once again that the package will arrive in 10 to 15 days and all will be well. It’s July 23 I paid for a product I got to use 2 times and delayed my trip because I also moved to another city and got another job in the time it takes to ship a product from Ownboard to Europe. In the meantime I ordered a Meepo which got here in less than 2 weeks…. The board for the 2 rides I got out of it was superb but I can’t help but feel insulted or duped. Will be putting a full review when the package dose arrive so you can have samples of the conversations and dates. It’s taking longer than a pre-order… Bottom line so far the absolute most awful purchase experience by far! Can’t say much about the board almost 4 months after my purchase. Go for a serious company, don’t waste your time.

Extraneus73 says:

So, I’m an Ownboard owner for about a month now… I got a C1 with Sanyo batteries, I weigh about 105 kg with clothes etc., and I mainly ride bicycle lanes of varying quality, mainly flat terrain with slight up- and downhills. I reach about 41 km/h top speed and my worst range has been 19 km with headwind all the way. Usually I’ve got 25% battery left after my 19 km commute to work. Hopefully these real world stats will help you make up your mind…

J-Rod Captures says:

Hey Fab!! love ya vids. I’ve got an Evolve bamboo and also a Meepo board that I use for travel and I’ve taken it on a few flights now. I just cheek the board in with my luggage and take the battery out and take it on the flight with me in my back pack. The meepo battery is 4.4ah/158.4wh thats what it says on the battery. Cant wait to see your board though!

James Thomas says:

how much is it ?

Joel F says:

i have the original meepo and i’ve done a few upgrades to it such as a different grip tape and the new deck that they’re selling, i really love the new deck. i also decided to 3d print an enclosure with my pen (i dont have a 3d printer) because the old enclosures are flat and the new deck has a concave. i also added a battery percentage indicator which is awesome. im also waiting on a bunch of batteries from aliexpress so i can make my own “Sanyo” battery. i could use the extra distance. im also putting in a usb plug so i can charge my phone, i just need to find a waterproof one. also the hub motors arent totally water resistant, i took one apart to see how it looks, and its pretty easy to clean, i just with there was a vendor that sold the urethane separately thats all. overall i love the board

Toby Collins says:

fab do a comparison with all the cheap boards including the backfire 2

hobscotch says:

You like the belt motors and I’m a fan of hub motors because i don’t need the tourque.

Viktor Jonsson says:

Own board has the best support

dakota diesel says:

Thanks for a good review

baddriver1122 says:

Hey Fabian, what do you think of a belt drive that’s easily detachable, so you can push easily if the battery dies

I'm Just A Dave says:

Were you actually going backwards for a while there? There was an arrow pointing backwards on the end of the board. I don’t know anything about the board but logic makes me think the arrow would point forward. Plus you had that moment where you thought the controller was saying it should be going backwards. Just a thought, I’m sure you shouldn’t ride it right now with your ankle the way it is.

California RV Dreamin says:

Watt hour is amp hour × voltage. 36v x 4.4ah = 158.4 watt hour

AttinatorHD says:

Freue mie scho uf die board wird sicher hammer

Chris Kang says:

Do you know why the replacement battery is so cheap compared to the meepo or wowgo?

G.O.A.T_Gaming says:

would you recommend the ownboard or the backfire g2

Neenya says:

Did a Swedish man really just say “Keelo-meturs” instead of “Killomm-a-turs”

Kris343 says:

What do you mean 30° is 60%, because its not. 90° is straight up so if 100% was straight up 30° would be around 33%. And what you are showing at 2:32 is more like 45° which is 50%

Chris Schulz says:

How does the Ownboard W1 compare to the Verreal V1? They seem quite similar.
(The Verreal is currently on sale for Chinese New Year Until Feb 28 for $259, and then will go up to $600).
Maybe also worth comparing it to the  Meepo 1.5 and the Backfire 2. All seem pretty similar.
Here are two videos I saw about the Verreal V1:

Crown Wheel says:

Hi,Guys, thank you very much for you watch vedio, this is Jerry from ownboard, here is answer of all your guys care about–we are much difference than other brand:

1.About battery range we also have Samsung/Sanyo 8.4ah too,in the future will put in the website if many client need,in China makrket many fake Samsung and Sanyo, that why we mostly we choose LG, we use original LG battery almost 3years now of our battery supplier,so LG battery is good,no need worry about range,if need longer range have 6.4ah one, about climb it is 30%,not 30 degree it is our mistake on manual,we need write about 15-20 degree, also climb, speed, range all up to weight and road, for us,we can make faster ESC like 48km/h,we have that kind ESC,you can check my youtube vedio our carbon fiber C5 speed 45-48km/h,but too fast speed may not safe.so we don’t sell in our own webiste, this is our main reason we make it 38km/h,not too fast not too slow, and of course when standing on it can’t all get 38km/h speed, people weight not same!

2.About trucks of ownboard:We use thick Aluminum die-casting trucks, till now we never happen it broken, and so no worry, our trucks more expensive than other brand, and we use SKF import bearings,i know other brand trucks when play long time have noise because bearing not good and trucks not good!we ship many container of e skateboard use sea ship container so no worry about trucks too!here is our trucks features:

Material: Aluminum alloy die-casting
Salt spray test: 72 hours salt spray test, other brand can’t
Surface treatment: electrostatic spraying, other brand ordinary paint spray, easy lose paitng!
Screw: Can withstand 2 tons of pressure, other brand can not
Briquetting material:Manganese steel, other brands use iron

3.And about the handle hole, first we want put a silica cap in it,but now we all don’t put and all make it more smooth of the edge,

4.Arrow is for worker when put sandpaper can put bette Center of the deck, this is biggest use of Arrow!now the new one on our website all changed!

5.Btw,now all client buy will have discount coupon, when check out put”Fabian2018″,you will have 20USD discount!

6.Our biggest difference from other brand is the ESC inside it is 100% waterproof and shockproof, also we use waterproof connector of motor!and our Remote is very smooth!strong signal! and last we use metal case for battery and ESC,very strong,we both have long ,antenna wire in remote wire and ESC,signal very strong!

—-Any other questions pls feel free ask me!

Paolo Picariello says:

Hello Fabi, I am undecided on the main budget e skateboards. Since you tested many or even all of them what in your opinion is the best out of those and why? MEEPO, Ownboard, Wowgo , Pomelo latest model of course.
Thank you very much and have a happy Easter

Larry unger says:

The arrow is facing the wrong way. I hope your doing well.

Leo Bae says:

I would rather pay a little more and be safe. meepo board seems dangerous to ride
