DESCRIPTION: In this video I review my DIY electric skateboard (esk8) and the improvements that I’ve made since my initial build. With the numerous tweaks that I’ve made to fine tune this speedster I’ve gotten the board up to 33 mph! After watching this video I have left some notes/links below for the parts if you are interested in purchasing them. Thanks for the support and please consider subscribing!

Hey Neil lovin the vid. How did you wire in the battery meter to work with the lipos? That seems like something I would love to add to my build. Thanks!
-Jacob
great vid! what speed controller are you using?
hey man, there is loads of esc and battery enclosure’s you can 3d print on thingiverse. 3d printers have come well down in price too here is the one iv got http://bit.ly/2pZ64d2
Tips from the grand master love ya bro xxx
Thanks for the vid,.. Btw how do you charge your battery? It’s quite hassle for me unplugging my battery everytime I need to recharge it,.
THUMBS UP! SICK 🙂 Just remember not to leave those Voltage Alarms plugged in when not using the board. They’ll usually drain Cell 1 or 2 specifically.
Thumbs up for this video 🙂
so which remote do you use?
Dude, I need to sell all my parts. I need to start over. Loved the updates!
I think you forgot to leave some space for the flux capacitor.
So, are you using a VESC? I may have missed it if you mentioned it. I see you suggested it but I wasn’t sure if you said you were using it. thanks!
you should def invest in the enertion battery pack . because that battery setup look not only a mess . but dangerous
Wassup Fam. Nice video, awesome build. Thumbs up.
Hey thank you, great job for the videos and esk8. I’m learning to make one for me. 🙂 What is the model of your motor?
Very informative video Neil!
ooo eee i like them arangatang nipples yo
Thunderpower batteries are really good for high discharge applications but they are prone to dropping cells prematurely. Check out venom or ROC battery…Venom: https://www.venompower.com/ ROC: http://www.airshowrc.com/roc_battery_lipo.html Now, just a note about anti spark…The spark is CRITICAL to knowing that your ESC is healthy especially when it comes to systems bigger than 6s a faulty ESC can cause battery failures resulting in dropped cells or fires. Additionally, when the capacitors begin to fail on the ESC they are very easy to replace on many models. I highly suggest Castle Creations controllers…they are the absolute highest quality ESC’s and i have NEVER….EVER….EVER had one fail in any application….EVER. I highly suggest that anyone doing any kind of brushless motor thing buys Castle products. Yes, they are a little pricy, BUT you save money on batteries because they wont over discharge your batteries AND they last forever. Link: http://www.castlecreations.com/en
